  1. Astronomy Picture of the day
    A different astronomical picture each day.
  2. Earth Viewer
    Provides views of the earth and moon from different angles and places.  Live pictures of the earth from satellites.  You can even request a view.  Cool site!
  3. The Planets
    You have to go here if you are doing a unit on space.  Detailed information and pictures on the planets, missions to them, discoveries.  Go see it!!
  4. Cells Alive
    Good resource for images of cells for science class.  Some of them are even animated.
  5. Nanoworld Image Gallery(electromicroscope images of fleas blood cells and more will help with your teaching efforts)
    Similar to the site above but with more content.  Magnified pictures of all kinds of cells.  If you're doing a unit on cells you want to check this site out.
  6. Reptiles (collection of images)
    Pictures of all kinds of reptiles.  Also has resources on the net for reptiles.  Graphic intense so kind of slow.
  7. THE HEART: An online exploration
    Tours of the heart and circulation system.  Activities to test your knowledge. Great site.
  8. The ACEKids Webpage.
    Nice site geared towards kids and parents.
  9. A kids tour of The Whitehouse
    Kids can take a tour of The Whitehouse with the first cat Socks as their guide
  10. Kids make your own newspaper
    Kids can make their own paper.  The screen to the site is questionable, check it out before you let the kids go...not sure why they did it that way
  11. Smithsonian Institute
    Kind of cool, but not sure kids will love it all that much
