Way Back Machine: The Internet Archives http://www.archive.org/
Have you ever deleted a webpage and wanted to revisit it? I have deleted many pages that I can't find the back-up copies. Visitors email me and ask, "I want information on________and that page is no longer available.
Could you please help me find information on-----------?
Now you can revisit your website as it existed on a certain day.
"The Internet Archive is a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit that was founded to build an ‘Internet library,’ with the purpose of offering permanent access for researchers, historians, and scholars to historical collections that exist in digital format. Founded in 1996 and located in the Presidio of San Francisco, the Archive has been receiving data donations from Alexa Internet and others. In late 1999, the organization started to grow to build more well-rounded collections."
Here are the pages from my website that have been archived:

Website URLs can be long and difficult to remember. There are lots of free tools that allow you to "snip" your long URLs into small, friendly and persistent links for sharing and remembering. Here are just a few: SnipURL (http://snipurl.com/); URLcut (http://urlcut.com/); TinyURL http://tinyurl.com/

Introduction to Teaching Guides
-
Catalyst teaching guides do not provide "how-to" information. Rather, they are intended to suggest different ways that educators use technology to support their teaching goals. Each Teaching Guide is oriented around an instructional goal or practice such as "encouraging discussion" or "promoting student collaboration." Teaching Guides are composed of four sections: common goals related to the Teaching topic, options for implementing technology to address these goals, with links to information on planning considerations and, where appropriate, Action Plans, campus resources that can help you address the Teaching topic, and further reading that addresses the Teaching topic.
