"Connecting Education and Technology"

The "Education & Computer Connection" is a valuable source of information for educators, parents and students who use technology to enhance learning. As educators, we must be positive role models for our students. Students must see teachers as proficient users of technology in the classroom. Teachers must provide opportunities for students to access the Internet and the World Wide Web to develop high-quality activities with hands-on use of current technology.

An Award-Winning Site

Technology in the Classroom:

The use of computers, technology applications and hands-on learning enables each student to tie-in your classroom objectives and make a connection to real-world applications. This methodology gives each student equal access to a world of knowledge limited only by the imagination.

The U.S. Department of Education has launched www.college.gov, a new website that aims to motivate students with inspirational stories and information about planning, preparing and paying for college. Designed with students' input and participation, College.gov was created by the U.S. Department of Education to be a go-to online resource for credible information about college that also provides real life experiences of peers who are already attending college.
