Does the State of Kansas owe you money?

The State of Kansas holds nearly $100 million in abandoned assets that belong to literally thousands of our citizens -- and most people who are owed money don't know it!

For example, imagine that you moved from one town to another.  The utility company in your old town was holding a deposit you made when you had your service turned on.  But when you moved, the old utility company did not have your new address and, therefore, could not find you to return your deposit.

Under Kansas law, that utility company eventually turns over your deposit to the Kansas State Treasurer who holds it  for you until you claim it.

The same is true with many other types of payments and abandoned assets.  Insurance payments.  Dormant bank accounts.  Abandoned safe deposit box contents.

By clicking on the link below, you can access the database of the Kansas State Treasurer's Unclaimed Property Division.  You can search by your name or by your town or county to find out whether the State of Kansas is holding money that belongs to you!

If you find assets that are yours, you can file a claim to get them back!

Search for yourself, your family, your neighbors, your friends.  It's quick.  It's easy.  And, after all, IT'S YOUR MONEY!
