I understand all of your frustrations of trying to adopt a 'rescue' collie. Please believe me when I say that this is NO reflection on you/your family/your home personally. Our bylaws dictate that a Collie Rescue League of NEW ENGLAND volunteer must do the home visit, and sometimes it's impossible to ask someone to travel hours to do a visit. I'm sure you understand that ALL of us our volunteers and the majority of us work FULL time. If you would like to discuss this further, please email crlneinof@aol.com and I will gladly continue this conversation with you. Especially in regard to the Seeley collies. The one thing I do NOT want to do is turn you away from attemtping to adopt a collie. They are the BEST breed of dog, in my opinion. (Sorry to my husband who feels that the Brittany is the best.) Please email me for further discussion!
