Collies are Herding Dogs - they love to chase and run. We STRONGLY recommend a fenced-in yard for all of our dogs. The dogs that have it specifically written in their write-up means that a fenced-in enclosure is MANDATORY.

DAVEY JONES Adoption Pending

This is a special collie that deserves a home that offers love and companionship.  Davey Jones was without a true family for many years and spent most of his time alone.
While Davey turned 10 in October, he has the energy of a much younger dog.  He adores children, other dogs and his foster homes' cat.  He just wants to be your constant companion and especially likes car rides.
Davey can't be trusted outside without a fence or someone walking him.  His new family will need to work on his recall, but it should be easy as he is food motivated!  You can't blame him for being interested in the outside world; his time outside was very limited in his past life.
Davey Jones would make a wonderful companion to a loving family.

LASSIE
She may not be the real movie-star, but she is a sweet collie!  Lassie loves people; asking only for ALL the love and attention she can get.  She wants to please with a wagging tail.

Lassie will alert her family to motorcycles, trucks, bikes and new people, but will stop when the stimulus is gone.  She is a bit robust, so a program of daily exercise is a MUST.  She knows the basic commands, walks well on a leash and LOVES to play fetch! (good for her exercise program!)

As with all CRLNE collies that are ready for adoption, she is up to date on all of her vaccines and spayed. Lassie gets along with men, women and older children.  She would do best as the ONLY dog in a family.

4 Years Old
Female Tri-Color Smooth

MOLLY
This is Molly.  A young and energetic smooth collie.  She is a VERY smart girl who is anxious to learn and please a new family.  She is a bit 'under' socialized, so is slightly timid at first.  Her new family will need to gain her trust and continue to show her new experiences.  Molly responds BEST to kindness and love.
A fenced in yard is a MANDATORY, as her recall is not very strong.  A family that will be willing to continue training and obedience would be ideal for this young gal. Her foster family says she is very sweet and has the potential to be the BEST SHE CAN BE!
A new family with Molly as the only dog would be grand, so all the attention can be focused on her.  She likes men, women and children!  Walks fairly well on a leash and likes to play.  The only thing that really frightens her is thunderstorms.  Her foster family is willing to help Molly's new family with this.

ABE Updated photo and write-up

Abe can be described as a rambunctious seven year old with no qualms about getting his feet muddy and terrorizing any bird who dares to light on the grass.  He needs a good gallop everyday to burn the energy.

He would be good with older children but not with little ones.  He can get excited and nippy and could easily be to much for a child.  He is a go everywhere do anything dog and his foster home enjoys having him around.  He is a demand barker and will chase anything that will give him a good run.

Because of his allergies and thyroiditis, his new family will need to maintain his diet restrictions and medications-THIS IS A MUST.
