Dr. Rich De Paris is an organizational specialist who serves as Executive Director of the Center for Police Leadership. He is also an active seminar presenter and consultant to law enforcement agencies nationwide. Beyond his work with the Center, Dr. DeParis is a member of the graduate faculties at the University of North Carolina, University of Southern New Hampshire, University of Phoenix, Capella University, Walden University, and Argosy University. 

Dr. DeParis holds a Doctorate in Public Administration with Specialization in Organizational Leadership and Management, as well as Master's Degrees in Business Administration and Public Administration.  His academic interests focus upon public sector leadership and organization, particularly in law enforcement agencies.  He has been published in a variety of professional journals, presented at many national and international conferences, and consulted with police and governmental agencies nationally.

Prior to entering the consulting field full-time, Dr. DeParis served with the San Diego Police Department for twenty years, where he held a variety of command assignments including Training Director for the Regional Public Safety Training Institute, Commanding Officer of Long Range Planning and Special Projects, and Commanding Officer of Field Operations Administration.
