AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Rebecca is a facilitator and coach, who combines over thirty years of experience in the non-profit and healthcare arena as a physical therapist, hospital chaplain and psychotherapist with expertise in organizational change. She empowers individuals and teams to build and sustain momentum for long term meaningful changes. She helps them address the core issues of staff, patient, and family satisfaction scores and their relationship to staff retention, increased productivity, and patient safety.
Rebecca draws on her triple training to address the underlying and often unaddressed needs of the heart, mind, and body. Her focus has been primarily on healthcare professionals with issues around self-care, care of colleagues, and care of patients and their families.
CURRENT PROJECTS
Rebecca is the Founder and Principal of the Center for Creative Transformation in San Rafael, CA, which offers consulting services to individuals, businesses, and organizations who desire assessments of work environments, leadership training, and staff development. Personal coaching and support are often part of the services given. She draws on her training in Emotional Intelligence testing and skills based coaching. She has experience as a chaplain at a large county hospital and presently is serving part time as a leadership coach to an Oakland church community.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Rebecca has an independent consulting practice that focuses on integrative healthcare practices. Some of her clients include the St. Joseph’s Health System of Eureka, California Pacific Medical Center, the Institute for Health and Healing in San Francisco, Marin General Hospital, Novato Community Hospital, and the Orlando Regional South Seminole Hospital. She has also led workshops at retreats and educational centers across the country.
CREDENTIALS
Rebecca is a licensed California Marriage and Family Therapist. She has a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida, a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Stetson University, and a Masters of Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary. She also has training and certification in EAP and Organizational Consulting, in Mind-Body Medicine, in Interactive Guided Imagery, in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
