BTA's "ONE STEP AT A TIME POLICY"

If you have had the benefit of a solid clinical masters degree program, sound clinical supervision, and experience with a variety of clients and clinical issues, you may not need a complete home study course. 

The Practice Examinations included in the California MFT Standard Written Exam Home Study Course may be purchased separately at $120 (for the Standard Written Exam) or $135 (for the Clinical Vignette Exam) in your choice of printed or online (computer based) format.  Instead of purchasing the full Course, you may wish to begin by purchasing these Practice Examinations and use them to test your familiarity with the kinds of issues covered by the exam.

If you do well, you may be ready for the exam without needing additional materials.  If you find that you have room for improvement and would like to then purchase the full Home Study Course, the price previously paid for your Practice Examinations can be applied to the price of the Home Study Course.  The remaining components of the Course will be shipped to you for $155.
