WHAT??? What kind of trichordo are you playing? If you're trying to get a trichordo sound, why would you play a D# on the F string? And, if you meant to say the 9th fret, which would give you a D, why would you want to duplicate the sound of your high D string?
The Low D of the Trichordo is the same tone as the D at the Second Fret of the C String on the tetrachordo. Playing that while muting the F String will give you the closest recreation of the trichordo sound. Sure am glad you're here to help!
