i been playing various zouks over the past several months....one thing i don't quite understand is why do some zouks just "feel" softer than others? the tension in the strings seems to be less rigid...i assume if the strings have to be tightened to the same tension to produce the required number of cycles to get the right pitch...and yet some zouks feel much more comfy and playable...what can this be attributed to? is it the strings, structural, bridge placement /height, string guides, etc..etc..etc.. your insights would be appreciated....thanks
