Well paidia... I'm now the proud owner of one of the new Bouzouki Gig Bags that Pavlos is selling. Knowing that I have some flights coming up, I just wanted to protect my investment a bit more. These things are lightweight tanks! I just don't know what would be any better than one of these.
Pavlos told me that he stuck a heat lamp on one, and the temperature on the outside was 140 degrees. He put a thermometer in the case, which started at 80 degrees and it only rose up to 100 degrees over two hours. I think that's pretty impressive.
As a final test... I decided to sit on mine. For those of you who know me, you know I'm not a lightweight... but... the case survived... no problemo! It was fun watching Pavlos making his Stavro, LOL!!!
Anyway, I purchased a single case. While my bouzoukia are sitting around at home, they're perfectly happy in their own cases, but now I have a lot more piece of mind when it's time to transport one of my instruments.
yia,
makis
