Your ex spouse cannot charge you with a criminal offense. Only a prosecutor can bring criminal charges. they can do so if you fall behind significantly in child support. An individual can file civil contempt charges seeking jail sentences.
If your income has changed since the last time child support was reviewed, you should file a Motion to modify.
Just as child support may be difficult to pay in hard economic time, it also is difficult when it is not received. I am certainly not going to instruct you on how to avoid the obligation by moving to a foreign country. Doing so would also mean giving up contact with your children, which is not a particularly proud proposition for a mother on this father's day.
