Hello, I have a "no alcohol" restriction on my license.A couple nights ago I was pulled over by a local sheriff. When he asked me for my license I asked him why he had pulled me over? I didn't feel I had done anything wrong. He told me he didn't need I reason to pull "my type" over. He said he ran my plate and seen I had the restriction and he can pull me over anytime for that. He asked me out of my vehicle and then asked me if he could look my vehicle over, I asked him, what if I say no? He said he then would hold me until he gets a search warrant which could take some time. Well I didn't have anything to hide, and I don't drink anymore, so without wanting to go through the hassle I said he could. He checked my whole truck including the back that I had a topper on. My question is....can he legally do this? I think it's nothing but harrassement!
