First, you should bnever have entered a plea to the charge.. In most instances, a criminal record can be avoided entirely if you have no significant past criminal record.
Second, unfortunately, under the current law, if you entered a guilty plea and the matter was not stayed for dismissal, the record cannot be expunged from any administrative records where background checks are performed.
