Last Luxury Liner To Hold The Blue Riband

Over the years, Baldt supplied the anchors for many Luxury Liners including the S.S. America and the S.S. United States. The S.S. United States is the last Luxury Liner to hold the prestigious Blue Riband for the fastest Atlantic Crossing. Previous holders of the Blue Riband include Germany's Bremen, France's Mauretania, Italy's Rex, and England's Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth.

104 Years Young And Still Standing Fast!!!

The Baldt Stockless Anchor was developed by the famous turn of the century foundryman, Frederick Baldt, of Chester, Pennsylvania. Baldt first received a patent on a "stockless" anchor in 1896. In 1901, Baldt received a modificaiton patent for a product of such superior design and quality that the words 'Baldt' and 'Stockless Anchor' have become synonymous.

Famous U.S. Navy Ships supplied by BALDT

BALDT has supplied the Anchors and Chain for such famous U.S. Navy fighting ships as the USS Arizona (BB 34)and the U.S.S. Missouri (BB 63). More recently BALDT supplied the Mooring Systems for the USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) and the Bohnhomme Richard (LHD 6).
