Baldt Stockless Anchor 104 Years Young And Still Standing Fast!!! The Baldt Stockless Anchor was developed by the famous turn of the century foundryman, Frederick Baldt, of Chester, Pennsylvania. Baldt first received a patent on a "stockless" anchor in 1896. In 1901, Baldt received a modificaiton patent for a product of such superior design and quality that the words 'Baldt' and 'Stockless Anchor' have become synonymous.
