- Acoustic Emission is the most sensitive technique for determining the physical state of your high energy piping under operational conditions. Monitoring is non-invasive, and can determine the difference between sources related to creep damage in seam-welded piping, hanger support cracking, and thermal fatigue cracking of fittings and attachments. AEC has extensive experience in fossil high energy pipe testing, including participation in multi-year EPRI-sponsored technology development programs.
