Harpist  


Linda Grieser
Linda Grieser started playing the harp at age fourteen. She studied harp at Oberlin College, Interlochen Music Camp, and Capital University. Her teachers have included Lucille Lewis, Charles Kleinstuber, Jean Harriman, and Linda Wellbaum. She has played with the Middletown, Lima, Wheeling, and Springfield Symphonies. Linda has been freelancing in the Cincinnati area for twenty-six years. Besides performing, she teaches Suzuki harp and plays for patients at Hospice of Cincinnati.

 

Flutist  


Kathryn Daniels
Kathyrn Daniels began studying the flute at age ten. She attended the Interlochen Arts Academy during her senior year in high school, and the following year, majored in flute performance at Boston University. She received her Bachelor's degree there and continued her studies at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music where she received a Master's of Music degree. While in Cincinnati, Ms. Daniels taught at Wright State University, College of Mount Saint Joseph and in the Preparatory Department at the University of Cincinnati. She served as principal flutist with the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra and the Classical Symphony of Cincinnati, and has performed with the Dayton Philharmonic, Richmond Indiana Symphony, and the Virginia Symphony. At present, she is a teacher at the Academy of Music in Norfolk, Virginia and the Community Music Academy of Old Dominion University.

 

Cellist  


Michael Daniels
Michael Daniels began his musical training at the Brevard Music Center, Brevard, North Carolina, where his father was a faculty member. He later received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. While in Cincinnati, Michael was a member of the Dayton Philharmonic and performed with the Cincinnati Symphony, the Cincinnati Ballet Orchestra, and the Cincinnati Symphony Pops. He has been a member of the Swannonoa Chamber Music Festival, a participant in the Grand Teton Summer Music Festival, and a member of the Ghent Piano Trio. Michael has performed as soloist regularly with the Virginia Symphony. His solo appearances include the Saint-Saens Cello Concerto, Haydn Sinfonia Concertante, Haydn Cello Concerto in C, Beethoven Triple Concerto, and a duo performance with Bobby McFerrin of the Vivaldi Double Cello Concerto. He has also performed chamber music concerts with Robert McDuffie, Stewart Goodyear, Anthony Newman, Awadagin Pratt, and Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, and the Miami String Quartet.  He is currently the principal cellist of the Virginia Symphony.
